Hi, folks! I was adding pictures I took at a nursery today to the database. I added two photos to Croton "Mrs. Iceton". I noticed in the system messages I received an acorn for the first photo, but not the second. At first, I thought I messed up and marked them both as "leaves" when one was "entire plant". But when I click on them, they show that I marked them differently. Did I break something? Rolling on the floor laughing Here are the messages I received:

That does appear to be a glitch. You should get an acorn for each of your first photos in separate galleries. Did you by any chance edit the gallery after the photos were uploaded? Editing to change a gallery will not produce an acorn. If you submitted them with the two different galleries from the start, you should have received two acorns.

I see one is labeled entire plant and one is labeled leaves so I think you should have gotten an acorn for each separate photo.

@zuzu No, I didn't edit it. I thought I had messed up at first and that's when I looked at both pictures to see which one I needed to edit, only to find out they were labeled right the first time. It's weird because I've just uploaded a bunch of pictures and that was the only one that did that. Confused

Thank you for this report. There's definitely a problem here (a bug on the ATP side) and I'm looking into it. I'll send you acorns to compensate you. Smiling

Thanks, Dave. Not in it for the acorns, just wanted to make sure the site is working correctly for everyone. Plus, it was really weird that it was only the one plant that it did that on. Thanks for the acorns, though! I find I've been more generous with them since I became a moderator. Smiling

Speaking of acorns...there were two or three times that I gave an acorn for a posting, however, the giving was duplicated and another acorn was sent. Don't understand what happened. Shrug!

Rainbow, if you can remember a specific instance where that happened, Dave can look into it. The only thing I can think of is if you accidentally clicked the button more than once before it processed. Like when you shop online and they say "don't click the place order button or refresh the page" because it might charge you twice.

It could be that I clicked twice...but if so, perhaps I should have been asked twice whether I wanted to send the acorn. I remember specifically when that happened, but that's okay, I don't want to take back the extra acorn. Big Grin
