On this Easter Morning, my Chalice Vine has 1 bloom open, with another to come in a day or so. Each of the plant stems has a bud. Will it continue to bloom? I don't know anything about the bloom habits.................LOL Just knew I had to have one when I saw the open flower.

So beautiful! Do you detect a fragrance?

Lovely! It is a tropical vine and will bloom for several months here. I hope it will do the same for you.

It has a very faint fragrance, but I can't pinpoint it.

I guess I was just wondering if it will have multiple blooms on the same "wood" (shoot) or if it has to make another shoot for more blooms? (Am I making myself clear on this??? LOL)

It can have multiple blooms on the same shoot.

Anna, mine smelled kind of lemony.

Beautiful, Anna and very appropriate for Easter Sunday, right? I have one that has wandered along the side of my pool cage, and I've seen a couple of spent flowers on the ground underneath it, but never yet seen a flower on the vine. Sad

There's also a huge one that has climbed into a tree at Selby gardens, and the flowers can be 20 or 30ft. off the ground.

Elaine, I thought for the last 3 days the first bud would be open...............but when it was open this morning, Easter Sunday, I said I KNEW my Mom had a hand in that! She sent it to me on Easter as a sign. Smiling
