I made a trip over to Ballard's Daylily Garden over in Slocomb, Al. today and picked up the following plants:
America's Most Wanted
Gentle Shepherd
Persian Market
Sherry Lane Carr
Spacecoast Sea Shells
Web of Intrique
Laughing Feather
Persian Ruby
I was given two gift plants: Both are suppose to be fast increasers (normal for gift plants).
Victorian Princess:

and an unregistered plant with a garden name of Lady Scarlet:

Edited: I forgot to add the photo of the plants I bought today. I requested the leaves and soil be left intact. By picking them up late this afternoon and planting them tonight, I don't think they will even notice they have been moved.

I have Persian Market and Victorian Princess. Victorian Princess is s fast increaser. It also needs partial sun because it fades out in full sun, here in Ohio. It always has nice foliage and reblooms here in Northwest Ohio.
Persian Market is awesome, it stands out from a distance really good. The color is sunfast for me here in Ohio. There is nothing bad to say about this daylily, I live it.

Those are some nice looking roots! Thumbs up

Persian Ruby is beautiful. I don't own it, but I keep thinking about it whenever I see it. Gentle Shepherd is nice. It isn't my favorite white overall, but it is one of the clearest whites I've seen and it always seems to be inexpensive. If you like whites of that form, I recommend getting Royal Frosting, it has excellent substance, more buds, beautiful fragrance, great color, very fertile...and it was a bud builder for me last year. I also bought it with two proliferations on it, which makes me think it's more likely to produce prolifs elsewhere, too.

Daylilies that fade or bleach out are at the top of my pet peeve list. America's Most Wanted was not colorfast at all. I can't complain about anything else about it, but the color was not that nice yellow by mid afternoon. Sherry Lane Carr also fades out but not as bad as America's Most Wanted. Sherry has been bullet proof and remains with me as one of my oldest daylilies. AMW went to a different home. Pity really about the fading color on AMW, because it had really nice form and grew well. But that's my thing......Persian Ruby always looked good in pictures. I hope it does well for you.............Maryl

My goodness, I wouldn't give my soil away even if customers asked! So your seller really went the extra mile with your request. I spent too much time, $$$ and effort moving in some 20 tons of top soil to beds to amend the red clay we have here. No way I'd give that soil away!! Just sayin'. Yes, within the past two weeks I have lifted half a dozen clumps and moved them a few feet or to a new location altogether with a garden fork this spring and they didn't even blink. You're lucky to get your plants this way.
