Plant ID forum: Can you identify this plant

My mother has this growing in Florida in pots as any time it touches the ground Roots self and starts a new plant. I would like to take some home up to Ohio growing area 6B do not know if it will over winter outside heavily mulched.

Lisa I have lots of that growing around my yard as well. It's called Coral Barleria. I'm pretty sure it will grow for you through summer, but no idea if you can keep it going through winter by mulching.

But could you take some cuttings or pull up some baby plants and over-winter them on a windowsill indoors or in your greenhouse?
