I've loved Firefox since Dave recommended it years ago.
Lately it has been driving me insane...always hanging and not responding. Anybody besides me having these issues? I'm so discouraged I've actually been using Chrome a lot lately.
Chrome is ok but it doesn't have the ability to have tiny bookmarks like Firefox and I haven't been able to find an adblock for Chrome either.

Any ideas?

I quit using Firefox several years ago for the same reasons you cited.

These days I use Chrome with the uBlock Origins adblocker add-on.

tiny bookmarks give you a bookmark bar that shows just te websites icon, therefor you can get easily 50 bookmarks showing at the same time just waiting for you to click on them.

I understand now. I have 12 bookmarks across the top on my screen on my bookmarks bar (I edited them down ), then just to the right on the end is a set of double arrows >>, I click on that and the rest off my bookmarks become available in a vertical list which can be put in the order I want. With my eyes I might have trouble trying to recognize 50 icons across the top of the screen, and heck I might not even remember what the icons stood for.

If you hover your mouse over the icons it shows the name of the website. It's the only thing keeping me hanging in there with Firefox.

Chrome supports that natively without any additional addons.

Just make your bookmark in your bookmark toolbar and edit the bookmark to remove the name. It'll show just the icon.

Funny. I don't have those issues with Firefox; it's working fine for me. My only complaint is that when I first turn on my computer, it takes a bit for FF to load, but I think that has more to do with all the other junk on my computer. Chrome IS faster, but I'm just too lazy to learn how to use a new browser.
