OK -- thanks Tom. That one came from a professional grower, so I'm surprised that it's wrong. It's so frustrating when that happens.

On a happier note, got some TB's blooming now!!

First up is Daughter of Stars. Funny -- as long as I've owned this one, and photographed this one -- this is the first time that I've noticed the white rim on the standards. I just love this Iris:


This is Golden Panther -- first time blooming for me:
I'm thinking this one should be moved to next to DOS -- wouldn't that be a gorgeous sight?

Dragon Flight -- one I've had for awhile and still love:

I have all three of those! Dragon Flight is in the ER and may not make it. The other two will give good bloom this year!

Wonderful collection Mary Ann! Did you do anything special to get Golden Panther to bloom? I have had mine in for several years with no bloom - it is about to get booted!

I didn't, Pam. I guess it just likes this spot better than where I planted it originally. Last summer I moved it to the newly-cleared section of the Fencebed garden. It gets full sun there -- and I'm thinking full sun is required for her. It did increase in the original location, so when I moved it I planted three rhizomes. All three have bloom stalks this year.

Another first-time bloomer for me -- Mandarin Morning, a Cheesehead contribution to my gardens. Thanks especially for this one Tom -- I love it!!
