Tiffany, Do your Dianthus come back every year? I have some perennial ones and just purchased some like above. They may be annuals? Hope they are perennials. I like them.

Theoretically hardy but I can't attest for these particular individuals yet. I got them around the beginning of the year & they've been blooming ever since. Best $3 I've spent in a long time.

Mine too and I think it was around that same price. Too good to be.

Gathering of Kalanchoe x houghtonii (one of the mother of thousands/millions plants) in wood "crib" thing DH made to be a plant holder to sit over water meter because it has gotten driven over a few times. Used 2 long rectangle planters sitting in it, with 20-25 plants each. If/when frost threatens, they're ready to pop into GH, and should have been in place long enough to stay upright when moved. Should be a great show of blooms this winter!!

Lavender scallops (K. fedtschenkoi) definitely won this spot. I had to move some of the smaller plants that were close to those.

That's the end of this spot for ground plants for this year. Greenhouse is going against that wall...

Tiffany, I'm sure you are going to keep us updated. My self, I have been wanting to purchase that Green house that Harbor Freight sells on sale for about $600. It's 10 x 12 feet with 4 vents. Almost got this used in great condition for $100. Waited too long, it was gone. Hoping for spring to get this.

Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi makes a wonderful "annual." Love the blue-ish color!

Love your zinnias. I had them one year only. Grew like crazy and flowered all summer. Shame it's a annual. I see a lot of zinnia seedlings coming up. Shame winter will kill them. Save the seeds (as you probably will). I have trouble with growing them from seeds. They germinate ok, but just can't raise them enough to plant in flower bed. By the time I get them going, it's too late. Some reason, they are rare here and seldom sold except in single pack that is like $5 each. That's too much. Used to be sold in 9 pks. for $1.99. That's when I had a whole yard full from one package. Next year, I'll spring the money and get some again. Miss them.

Ledebouria kirkii has kind of beat-up foliage but it has stored up enough energy to start blooming. Got a bit too cold probably about 3 weeks ago, which funked up the foliage. Put in this spot last weekend.

Always love looking at what your planting in your yard. Do you remember which Stapelia that is? and I see a piece of Carnation coming back. Mine died during winter but my other ones did ok. I guess it's a annual here in zone 6.

TYVM, Stush! Stapelia grandiflora. I'm not sure it appreciates being moved around as much as some of the others, hasn't bloomed for a while & they get sand splashed on them when it rains.

I'm embarrassed to say whatever foliage looked like mums is probably a weed. They are sprouting up faster than I can pull. Some I've learned are so much easier to pull if they get a big bigger, otherwise they tend to break instead of come up with the roots. And a few I leave to do their thing, if native & not too much in the way.

I found more Stapelia in another pot & added them to the area where the others were already, pulled more unwanted sprouts, moved a few violets to the back under the trees.

Note to self, rain-splashed sand sticks to Stapelia too much. Keep in pot in future...
