Wow magga! How long is your season then? In Minnesota, we can garden mid May until late September without season extension, depending on the weather. Sometimes it's a bit longer on either end.

The summers are cool here, between 55 and 68F. We start gardening in mid May tending to perennials and trees, but I try to start planting tree seedlings and cuttings earlier. We usually wait until first half of June to plant annuals. We can usually garden until end of September, although we often get some frost earlier. Roses don't bloom here until July and go on through September. Green Grin!
