We had a 40°F drop in temperature from yesterday. Here are some recent spring flowers to share.

Nice photos Joseph! I haven't had much luck with camellias yet, but the two I planted last fall are still looking nice and healthy. None of the others that I have tried in the past made it through the first winter.

Thanks, Terri. I think we got lucky with this Camellia. We planted another one, different variety, at the same time. It struggled through a couple winters and finally checked out. I hope your new ones thrive. They are worth the effort.

gorgeous, Joseph, thanks for sharing.
. I have epimediums too, young ones, and must be careful not to entirely miss the blooms.
Plant it and they will come.

I planted the roots of this variety as well as a deep red variety in 2011. They are flowering nicely now, adding one or two more buds each year.
