Regina,
Keast Daylily gardens in Iowa has Fearfully And Wonderfully Made for $20.
I have looked at there site many times but have not ordered from them. I think they don't start shipping until May. I also think I have seen them recommended by someone here on ATP.

Thanks.
I ordered from them last year and got great plants. Tom is super helpful too.

I will order it from them if I can't find a member here with it. Will probably be a fall purchase since I've got a bit more coming this spring Smiling

Cute as a Button and Little Wild Flower are really small (2" or under). I love the little tiny ones! Small Gesture is a really nice tiny 2" double also. I just divided mine so I don't have these to trade or sale but just wanted to suggest them for someone who is looking for the little ones Thumbs up

I found Witch's Thimble at Amador daylilies in Plymouth CA. The price is reasonable ; $5.00. But they require a $25.00 minimum order. So I don't know if this would work for you but you might want to look at there Web site anyway. It's Amadorfarms.com.

Becky,
I've found Dark Avenger for $10.00 at a place called daylilies buy george. Com in Florida. I'm not sure that's very helpful because I always find it frustrating when the plants I want are spread out among two or three different nurseries. The shipping alone is huge.

Thanks, Mary!

Well ... I settled on two totally different cultivars from what I had originally decided upon and ordered them from just one daylily garden that I've never ordered from and who doesn't have a rating yet in the Green Pages. So we shall see. I ordered:

Blue Moon Rising (Good rust resistance rating)
Little Jet Setter (lots of blooms that are bi-color, but I have no idea on rust resistance)

Both are Dips.

Just to update my previous post .....

I received my order of the two daylilies listed above. And a bonus daylily, "Little Rosy Cloud" (which appeared to be the largest cultivar in the box). I was impressed with the massive roots on each of them. They are soaking in rain water until each of them is potted up tomorrow.

I ordered these smaller cultivars from John and Nancy Falck at Hem Haven Nursery in Fairhope, Alabama. Will write a review about them in the Green Pages. They have a pretty good selection of miniature and smaller cultivars. I paid less than what was listed on their website for one of them, when I emailed them to inquire what they had available for sale. http://www.edaylilies.com/

I am pretty happy with my order and I like the bonus plant too. Hopefully, they will all do well in my garden in containers. Since they are all dips, I should have some fun crossing them, too! I am always thinking of hybridizing with ANY daylilies I receive. Always on the agenda.

Those look great. I have been waiting on a reply from John about availability of some I am interested in. I sent a list of 12 a few weeks ago and 8 were sold out so I asked about a few more but have not heard back. I am going a little crazy collecting mini and small flowers this spring. I have a new bed that will hold about 50 and I was going to do all mini and small flowers. I think I have bought 28 so far. You got some really nice minis to start out. I would love to have little jet setter. You will have fun crossing them and should be able to make something very pretty.

Terry - I forget what they have Little Jet Setter listed for on their website, but they sold the fans to me for $7.00. The Blue Moon Rising was only $6.00. So for $13 plus shpg. I got a pretty good deal including a very nice freebie plant. I just want to see what they look like and perhaps breed them. I am so taken by the big huge bloomers, that I'm not sure how much I will like the little ones. But just looking at the photos and reading the mini daylilies thread, I've gotten pretty interested. Something different to breed with. I like to mix it up and the minis might be fun. They sure look cute in bloom photos!

Now to find out which ones show rust resistance and perhaps even leaf streak resistance. My fingers are crossed! Crossing Fingers!

@beckygardener,
I went out this morning and took a photo of 'Blue Moon Rising', it has not increased any since I planted it, but it is one of the cleanest plants(no rust) in the garden. No scapes on it yet.

Larry - Thanks for that photo and evaluation of the plant in your garden! I had purchased it because of it's rust resistant rating.

When I was potting them up today, I noticed a scape on Little Rosy Cloud. Blinking

Thank Becky.
We cross our small flowers with all different blooms. Full forms, spiders, and UF's crossed with small flowers can still make some 5"-6" booms. Also looking at a longer time, if you get some 4"-4.5" flowers that are really nice, these can be the next step to larger flowers in future crosses. There are lots of registered daylilies that are examples. If you select the small ones for something you want to produce in larger flowers, then you will want to use them.

I must admit that some of the southern produced minis don't perform that well for us. Some have had no increase in 4 or 5 years and only bloom every other year. I am working on the small flowers in my hybridizing to try and make some with better plant habits but keep unique colors like the blue eyes. I think I am going to have to breed the evergreen out of some. There are some that are registered as SEV that the foliage is perfect evergreen all year.

Hello all

Just waiting out the end of April before returning to New Mexico to find out what God hath wrought in my (her's actually) garden.

I am looking for BLUE CRYSTAL. Webb's (edit, it was Bells not Webbs) had it last year but don't list it this. Any ideas?

Charley

I went to their site, and checked the price listing and did not find Blue Crystal listed. So when I saw it I was surprised. I went back to the site looking for the 2016 general prist listing and could only find one for 2015, but then I realized when I click on it I actually get a 2013 general listing.
