Hi, I'm new here. Can you please explain how I can post a photo and question in the forum?
Thank you,

@GrammaChar, Welcome!
You already posted your question just fine. When you want to post a photo, you just click on the button below that says "Upload an image". You will browse to your photo in your computer, and open it to place it with your question. Once you've done it once, it will be simple. New sites take a bit of learning, but this one is set up very well. I know you'll enjoy it here!

You live in a beautiful area! We go through there on our way to visit our daughter and the grands.

Hi GrammaChar, Hi! Welcome! from me too!

Yes, as plantmanager/Karen said, at the bottom of each page you will see a green box labeled:
Upload an image. Click on that area and then find the photo on your computer and click on it to open it. You will then see something in your post that looks like the following that will show the date, your user name and misc. letters and numbers:
[lightbox'2016-04-03/GrammaChar/03e127l[lightbox]
Click on preview and your photo image will then show up in your post. Then click the green box that says Finished.

@GrammaChar
We love seeing photos of anything garden related, or you can post pics and info about pets or other off topic subjects in the Sandbox forum.

I successfully posted a couple of photos. Wasn't difficult; thanks for the tips. No idea how to use the little smiley face things, but I'll play with it some. Really like this site as there's a lot of good information here. So glad I joined!

The little emoticons are easy to use. Type your message, and then just click on the one you want to use from the ones posted below the message box. Smiling
If you hover over them individually you'll see what they represent. Most are self-explanatory, but it helps to hover if you're not sure.
