Very pretty, it looks a lot like the Carolina Cranesbill (Geranium carolinianum) that grows here.

I googled and I see that Wild Geranium (Geranium maculatum) grows in Maryland

I did buy a couple varieties of cranesbill geraniums last year! Most didn't do anything at all--not even showing up--and I wondered if I'd see them again. Yay!
