As far as I know I have not experienced any spring sickness here. I will keep an eye out, and get more pictures next week. Thanks.

I didn't discover these little blooms until mid-afternoon today.
LITTLE RED FLIRT - So cute!

And this is the third bloom on HEAVEN'S DECLARING this spring, and the first one that opened more than half-way because of our cooler days.

I had several repeat bloomers today, but only one new one to open and it is a NOID.

Well even with the mid 80's temperatures in the day, the new blooms are mostly not fully opening.
NOID Double Purple:

My only new bloom of the day, Magic Lake: Not fully opened and showing just a faint halo.
Thumb of 2016-04-24/Seedfork/d67074
The best looking blooms in the garden over the past couple of days has been Siloam Double Classic. The scapes hold the blooms up above the foliage and they are fully opened. Very little signs of rust so far.

Edited to add: The time from first observance of the scape on Magic Lake till the first bloom was 18 days.

Larry, your Siloam Double Classis has been interesting to watch bloom, going from single to double, now back to single, although I did notice that one bloom is a poly...I have a few that tend to throw polys at the beginning of the season. Hope to see them soon!

Here are my (repeats) blooms for today since it's a bit slow.

Ok so this one isn't a bloom yet, but I think it's going to be open tomorrow. It's a NOID. Can't wait!

Well much warmer days now and the blooms are starting to look much better, I guess that is actually due to the warmer night time temps?
I bought this plant last spring from a California grower. They sent three fans and I planted two together and one in a separate spot. This morning the first ones bloomed, it is not 'Mister Lucky'. I have not had a chance yet to see if it might be one of the other plants in that order.

My NOID gift did open today.
I acidentaly sprayed it with water yesterday and so it left splotches. But the picture was taken at 4:00pm here. The throat is the darkest green I've seen. The picture doesn't do justice.

Edited to add, Hot Secret will bloom tomorrow. The DW picked out last year at the same time. I'm thinking its another of it.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I'm not very familiar with toothy daylilies, so I was going to ask if they all have buds that look like the creature from Little Shop of Horrors. Is that typical?
