Maybe you should let the critter rearrange the plant labels and see what happens. You might have a talented garden designer armadillo or something... Hilarious!

What a mess he made last night, my poor little Jason Mark daylily that has had such a struggle was finally looking like it was going to make a comeback. Two little fans finally reached the top of the cage I had protecting it, so I took the cage off a few days ago. Guess the critter had just been waiting for the right moment, well it is now in the ground again, at least he did not carry it off.

Have you tried putting mothballs around some of the more critter-attractive plants? Seems to work with rabbits.

Well, darn! I had the critter trapped...almost. Being the super trapper that I am, I forgot to oil the pivot points and forgot to grease the latch that locks when the door shuts. So he just ate all the food then turned around , pushed the trap door opened and walked out.

Well, we might find out after tonight. Anyhow, my neighbors are actually up in your state for a week or so.

I'll keep an eye out for them and if I see suspicious daylily activity, then we'll know. Angry
