This plant is in the woods at my son's place. It looks to me just like the evergreen huckleberry I have in my yard. The one in the photo has not flowered in many years. Does anyone know what this plant is?

This is a repeat thread. Its now called 'Confusing'. It was called 'Is there a non-flowering huckleberry?'

It is getting confusing... Confused

Yes it is! Toni, once you start a discussion thread it's not appropriate to restart it with a new thread. It can be confusing and it splits the conversation into to threads. If a post is not getting a response and slips down in the forum, you can bring it back to the top and back in front of members simply be adding a new post to that thread. Even just posting the word bump will bring it back to the top to get more attention.

Toni, The plant sure looks a lot like Evergreen Huckleberry (Vaccinium ovatum) to me.

@Daisyl, @Horntoad -
I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I absolutely did not know my first post went thru. I could not find a trace of it and thought because I was at my son's very rural property when posting, and could not find a trace of it when I got home, all led me to believe my post did not appear on ATP. Again, I apologize. I would not want to intentionally be inappropriate.
Thank you for your tips and tricks with bringing a thread back in front of people.

@plantladylin
Thank you. I will research further.

I just discovered a tab at the upper right of my screen that allows me to see my posts.
I didn't even know that was there *Blush*

No need to apologize, it's obviously not like you did it on purpose and posting twice is certainly not inappropriate, just got confusing, that's all. nodding You were confused, folks here were confused, no biggie, it all worked out in the end! Thumbs up
