Rosie, that is beautiful! Honestly, it looks so serene and peaceful now, you could add more plantings but you wouldn't have to. The garden art that you have is lovely and fills the space nicely. Love it already Lovey dubby

@MISSINGROSIE, that is just beautiful and perfect already! You've really put in a lot of work, and it's paying off. I'd love to be able to visit a garden like that.

Thank You!

The beds are not very wide but they do track along the paths. I like to keep busy and so that is why I wanted the plantings..gives my hands something to do ...if my departed loved ones and pets saw me doing nothing ..sitting on those benches idle...well...I just don't want them standing around staring at me!

We have our "Shiva" outside in the garden and saw one of our feral kittens sitting on the statue the other day. Perhaps she is contemplating the fate of things with her divine presence.....:)

Opps forgot photos

Also added tiny white lights on fencing
it is all still pretty messy but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel

Thanks. This is likely as far as I will get..summer is here.
I need to find a suitable groundcover for the center ...the sod died ( thank goodness...it looked nice but I did not want grass..DH had other ideas and I let him have his way..I knew grass was doomed )

In between the tall iris and columbine along the flagstone path I will put shorter iris and annual alyssum. And blue sage off in a corner with the Shastaand a viburnum... Have to paint one more bench..didnt anticipate that one..It will be black ro match the fencing ( photo). Got it for $35 had a crack ..all fixed now. Drexel ..a good solid bench..but was not in the plan.

I was thinking maybe I should just carry the flagstone into that bare area...and beef up the two walkways with more blooms

Also ...I have a lot of glass mulch that I could use, ..but not that much and the recycle center where I get it is down for 7 months getting a huge expansion.

See the area? I turned the photo black and white so you can see it ...should I merge it with that walkway or would that be too much hard cover percentage?

The last photo is the walkway the now bare area would merge onto

I think either one would be fine Rosie - it's all so beautiful and I love the black and white shot. Maybe leave as is for a season and then merge if you feel it needs it.

That chair is awesome!
