This is the third year for this one here. My Heucheras always look good, even in the winter. That's why I love them so much. Hostas disappear and leave empty spots, but these are year-round interest for me.

Exactly why I love them as well. Do many containers with heucheras, then I have color in them all year.

I have had that one for 3 yrs. It is one I did not plant in a container. So to survive this long in my garden is a good.

My winters are to sever to have them looking good all winter but they do look okay in the beginning of winter when we have our first few snow events.

I was at my local nursery and they had their plants from last year on sale for 75% off. I picked up two more Stainless Steel for 2.00. It was all they had left of SS. The others were purple palace.

All the other Hercs they had left were dead. This nursery will sell even the pots that look dead and if they do not grow they will refund your money but if I do not see alive plant I do not buy them even for 2.00 it is not worth the trouble.

That's a good deal! I'm going to order some more Heuchera when Santa Rosa has their big sale again.

Clint that is where I have purchased most of mine. The price is right and I do not feel so bad if they die.
