'Little Sunspot' is a small-medium hosta which is a bright spot in the garden. It's a sport from 'Little Aurora'. Bright golden, heart-shaped leaves, each surrounded by a vivid, dark green border. As the plant matures, the border widens and becomes even darker. Great substance and multiplies rapidly. Mine was new spring 2007. I grow it next to 'Warwick Curtsey' which is roughly the same size and with reverse colour and 'Fire Island' is on the other side. Please feel free to share your pictures of this hosta.

May 18 - at this time, there is virtually no variegation

Aug. 13. By later August, these hostas were showing more than usual amounts of slug damage.
