They are all beautiful Wolfgang.
Does the "ex' in P. rechingeri ex Küpe Dag mean "from"?

Yes, valleylynn,

"ex" is Latin. The English expression for is 'from'.
It's used very often in scientific text.
Normally every plant, which comes from nature should have "ex" instead of "from" as a supplement to the name.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing That is funny Terri. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Actually the only thing I have used the Quick Start on is the new semp babies, to get their roots growing fast and strong.
I don't fertilize any of my other plants. None of them. Don't tell them, they don't know they could be getting special food. Whistling

@turnini
Wolfgang, I found out that we can't put a separate entry for Prometheum rechingeri ex Kupe Dag. What you need to do is add the photo to the entry for Prometheum rechingeri, with a comment that it is from Kupe Dag, Turkey
Hope this makes sense?

OH my Oh my Oh MY......this thread is sooooo interesting .......and such great pictures.
Wolfgand you have such a nice collection of different ones that I have not seen before
Lynn ..way back on the first page you posted a pic of a sedum that someone sent you for a rosularia. (Seriously???) I am 99% sure that it is Sedum divergens minor. It's getting dark now but i will take some pics of it and of my Rosularia tomorrow. I sure hope i have the right names on them. So am I understanding correctly that they are no longer called Rosularia but Promethium? I think that mine may just stay Rosularia untill I run out of tags. Confused
Lynn Its great to hear that you do not fertilize them and they come through the winter with flying colors. I have had trouble over the years with them. I have lost quite a few in the winter and I have been giving them the same fert. as the Semps. Perhaps they do not need it. I tip my hat to you. Another experiment coming up.

I am encouraged to take these plants a bit more seriously now. They have always been so difficult for me.
Here is my Promethium glaucophyla. You can see what i mean about rough.! Now that i am in zone 8 and I will hold the fertilizer, I may get better results.This is how it looks after winter.

Love those Rosularia Jo Ann.
Yes, I think we did identify the plant sent to me as a Rosularia as being S. divergens. I think there is still some of it out front where I moved it all those years ago. I'll look and see.

Me too, Jo Ann! They are gorgeous!
I've been lusting after these plants for a while. If I don't spend too much on the German semps, I'm ordering a couple! Thumbs up

@turini Is that possible Wolfgang?

I think it would be better if I wait and ordered them from Perennial Obsessions.
I know I've seen them on their site before.

I need to focus on my sempies right now. I have their beds almost finished.
After all my new semps are settled, I'll see how much room I have.

Darn lottery! I needed that money to build semp beds on on most of our 20 acres!
You'll notice I said "need" not "want".

Jo Ann, what is the plant in your first photo in your above post? The trough is filling in nicely.

Terri, Perennial Obsessions has some awesome rosularia. And much more. Many of their plants live in my raised beds. I just love that nursery.
Wow, 20 acres. I have visions in my head of 20 acres of raised beds, all in neat rows. Whistling
