Maybe something in Prunus like a cherry?

Where did it come from (volunteered or you planted it)?

It does look a lot like Serviceberry (Amelanchier alnifolia)
No info or photos in the database yet for Cusick's Serviceberry (Amelanchier alnifolia var. cusickii)

That's it! It's native to this area, so that makes sense too. We bought this house in 9/16 from an avid gardener - half an acre with many plants I'm unfamiliar with. I'll be back. Thanks again to you all!
