Welcome to ATP! Welcome!

If you could update your information with your location and zone, we could better help you.

My guess would be grapes. I am assuming what you dug up what looked like a vine? Or did you bring seed home? Because it also could be a Sweetgum.

No seed, or vine. just the small plants starting to come up on a empty lot.

Welcome!

Was there trees near where you got them from? They look much like Sycamore seedlings.

The cotyledon leaves do look like sycamore. I think you brought home little trees of some sort.

You could go into business. Bonsai them and sell them. Hilarious!

Alternatively, yank them up and chuck them.

It would be the dust bin for them at my house. We had a huge one in our yard. I was SO allergic to that tree!

Acer platanoides (Norway Maple) (Introduced), the only other which is close. There's a map for each species on the above site, this one might be in your location but maps don't always give a true picture.
