What size did you go for, Ken?

Two-ton and I have two ceiling fans. Plus two, dual. floor circulating fans. I like to move the air when it comes to growing plants. I think this is one of the most neglected components of growing plants inside.

We also have four and one-half tons cooling the rest of the house and the solarium is connected to the rest of the house by two French doors.

Stumps are ground and removed! Foundation markers are in place. Next step grading and footings! You can see we have quite a slope.

At least water will easily drain away from the greenhouse. It looks like you'll have some nice spring/summer shading, though I don't know the time of day that the photos were taken.

This time, I am letting (paying) others to do the manual labor. I just couldn't do it again although we are going to supply the river sand. That way we control the delivery to the back yard past our new landscaping. We will haul it in with our compact Kubota.

I might have to do the same, Melissa. I have built three (permanent) greenhouses but don't know that I could build another one. Sticking tongue out

Ok. you got almost everything I want out of a greenhouse. You're just missing one important thing a kick butt stereo system with waterproof speakers and Wi-Fi so you can stream all the music you want. You could even listen to some gardening podcast while you're out there potting up plants. nodding

I only built one gh. Seeing @Thomas75 's in boxing photos made me sigh and sorta gave me the shivers. I'd have to be really motivated to build another! On that note, DD came over to reclaim her aloe plant I was taking care of white she was away in Montana for a Geology Field Camp. It was doing a lot better on my driveway than in her car! It even grew a baby! She went right into the GH, grabbed a pot and repotted the baby.
After, she said, "This is so cool! I want a gh!" I imagine there WILL be another gh build in my future.

Did you have to have inspections/permits to build your GH, Cheryl?

Idk? Idc? Everything about my gh is probably illegal. Ha! Well, I did pay for it.

I guess I would have to plead guilty to that as well, Cheryl. And I've built three of these things. I guess I should expect a knock on the door soon. Whistling

No issue there. Hubby and I met working at a high-end audio store. We are both audiophiles so I am sure there will be a nice system in the plans. I have a waterproof set of speakers that work very well and I usually hook up my iPhone. I don't have a streaming service though...
