My Pride of Barbados was gifted to my a precious 90 year old friend three years ago. She has since died. You can imagine how much it means to me, besides the point that the plants are beautiful and I've always wanted one. However it is now about four maybe five feet tall and has yet to bloom. This summer it appeared to be trying to bloom but it flirted with me. We've added some siblings in the flower bed. They are little though. This plant the first year after the first winter here in the Texas hill country I thought I'd lost it, but I trimmed the dead stuff way back and it came back to what e have now but n blooms???😥

My pride of Barbados is dug in, in a pot in my garden. Bloomed last year, didn't bloom this year but did come back. should I lift the pot and put in greenhouse?

I lifted and put in greenhouse. It looked dormant when I did it and still not sprouting.
