I love the wheel pole too. When your wisteria blooms it will smell heavenly while sitting under the shade of it..

My Dutchman's pipe seeds never grew so next yr I am contemplating Morning Glory, passiflora, or hyacinth beans as my climber.

Tiny solar lights ooooh! Lovey dubby

I didn't think about hanging twinkle lights on it. I would of loved that. Wonder if I could add them this winter when the leaves are off.
Thank you for the nice comments. DH made it for me for my birthday, because the last wisteria I grew ate the front porch...lol actually crushed it. The good thing I got a bigger front porch. lol So we knew we needed something much stronger and not close to anything it could crush.

My mom had something similar but hers had metal pails hung on each bar and planted petunias in them each year. The pails are about 4' off the ground. Also, there was a birdhouse at the top in the center. I loved it so much I had my hubby make one for me. I painted mine red, white & blue. I can post a pic of it if you would like to see mine.

@Agoo Welcome! we would love to see your art. My husband wants to make another one for me but I want 3 arms this time instead of 4. He also wants to put shepherd hooks on the end instead of them being straight. I think he's disappointed that I don't want to put the 2nd one in the front yard too. I told him that something this big goes a long way. Sticking tongue out

Hello, I will post a pic of mine in the morning. The way mine was made hubby just bent the rebar arms into a backwart curve that forms a hook that holds the pails. Nothing else needed Smiling

I agree
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
