You don't really have to do anything. You could do what a lot of people do, just move it all into a larger pot and develop a big family. If you do want more plants you can wait until the kids are a reasonable size and then depot the whole thing, cut off a kid with some root attached and pot it up separately. Any pix? Gene

Some of mine have been in the ground for temporary summer vacation for about 2 months, some about 3 months.

Even though I do summer all of my Sans. outdoors for the summer, I leave them in their pots. If I planted them in the ground I'd be afraid that they would grow lots of roots that I'd miss digging them up again. I'm also wary of insects. 95% of my pots are off of the ground. I figure less bugs that way. And this gives me the option of moving them around during the summer. Gene

I am really excited. Two of my three plants have babies. Not sure what to do with them, but for now they can live with their mommies. @gasrocks, any advice.

So far I have moved about 220 plants back inside. That probably leaves me 1500? to go. I'll count them all when I'm done moving them. Average first frost date is fast approaching. Forecast looks good for at least another 10-15 days though. Watch that change suddenly! Gene

Drooling Lovey dubby *Blush*

The first two look like S. trifasciata (they are the more common and easier to grow 'snake plants') and the third one looks like a 'hahnii' cultivar. They look very happy! Thank you for taking the time to take more pictures. Smiling

I *think* they can get up to 4-5 feet.

I'm not sure about what to do if they get too tall, I've never had one make it very long in my care, lol.

There are some species of Sans. that, in their native environment, can grow to 8-12' tall. Gene
