I bought a Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Painted Lady' a few day ago and it has reall started blooming like crazy.

Also my H. radiatus which I thought was supposed to be a fall bloomer is blooming now and covered with buds

Wonderful! What is your medium? And do you deal with spider mites often?

The 'Painted Lady is new, so it is still in the original store pot and soil. The potted H. radiatus is in cheap bagged potting mix. The ones in the ground are in just plain top soil maybe with a little potting mix thrown in at the time of planting.

Hibiscus poeppigii is enchanting. I see it is not hardy in my zone. If you ever have extra seeds of that, I am interested.

It's not hardy in my zone either, but it is suitable for container growing. I've been trying to save seeds but I have missed several pods. The pod are small and unlike my other hibiscus they hang down, so as soon as they pop open they drop.
