Your time will come too Barbalee. I do have to say, at least in my garden, Burseen iris are really really good growers. I am happy to see so many bloom a second year in a row too. Some of my iris, especially the Blyths, tend to take the second year off before blooming again.

Good morning Debra, how did you fair in the storms yesterday? I read reports of large hail in Garland.

Just some wind and rain, John. A couple of counties north of my location was hit hard, but we are fine. Thank you for asking. Smiling

It is a gloomy cloudy day so I thought posting this would wake me up. This little baby glows like the sun. (and as Bonnie said - unfortunate name)

she is one of the yellow Burseen trio in this garden Thumb of 2016-04-30/Lestv/a31c46

and the hardest to photograph!

The bright yellow plays havoc with a camera.

I am confused. What is wrong with the name Glitter Gulch for the bright Yellow spaceager by Burseen?

Charlotte - Gulches just don't conjure a pretty image.

Bonnie - Is this a test of my Burseen knowledge?? Earlier one for sure.

Sorry, Leslie, I sometimes assume everyone just knows what I am thinking. The iris is Holy Kosmoly, a 2001 by Burseen.

I wondered if that was broken color! Mine hasn't bloomed yet. Thanks for not making me guess!

More Burseen for you!

Notta Lemon - pretty iris with a nice scent. I thought the yellow would be brighter like it is on Abby and Me, but it is more subtle.

This one is a popular crowd pleaser in my garden. Honestly it is hard to fault Abby And Me. Very tall, huge blooms, nice scent. Wish it increased a little faster, but it keeps blooming and that is the main thing isn't it!

A couple of pictures of the yellow gals together in the garden. Wish I could have gotten better shots of them together, they are lovely in person:

Looks like you will have to open them to see all 3 -
