O.k. so looking at everyone else's pictures......their plants look so neat! My semps grow in clumps. Lynn, are you pulling your chicks off of the hens as soon as they are rooted?

Hi there Sandi. Many of mine have not been around long enough to make wonderful clumps like yours. Here is one that at one time had beautiful clumps and I never thought to take photos then. Even the ones that are in clumps I try to get a close up of a single rosette so you can see detail in the cultivar.

Chris she is beautiful. Does she get the blue color that Pink Pearl does in the summer? She also looks like a heavy producer. Looks like she has at lest 22 offsets going.

No, doesn't get as blue as 'Pink Pearl', but a bit bluer than most green ones. Just got it last year so this is the first batch of chicks.

Here's my Grigg's Surprise. If PIcklePuff bought her Griggs at the same place I did, then her's is Grigg's Surprise. The Timberline nursery owner talked to me a bit about it when I bought it last year, telling me about the person Grigg, that discovered it.

Grigg's Surprise also seems toughter than some others. It survived the winter in that pot while sitting on gravel out in the yard. There was no loss, even though we got below -20 F.
