Wow, it has really been a long time since we visited this thread.

I was out working in the beds the other day and decided to take comparison photos of three different calcareum that I have. I really can see differences in these three. Greenii is easy since it is very small compared to the other two. All the photos where taken 12/5/2012.
Greenii

Maroon Queen

Pink Pearl

What calcareum do you have in your collections?

Hi all, I have one that I purchased under the name 'Calcareum' with no other cultivar identifier here is a photo from a couple of weeks ago

I consider it a NOID because I don't think it looks like other S. calcareum that I've seen Shrug!
Its one of my favorites!
I ordered 'Oddity' which is on its way to me...didn't know its a syn. for 'Montrosum' love that!!!
Hurray!

I have 2 just marked calcareum, atlthough both look the same but are from different suppliers, along with Limelight, Mrs. Guiseppi and Extra. I'll post some pics as soon as my camera charges. Limelight has a fantastic colour, as the name would suggest!

As soon as I posted the heaven opened and didn't stop all day. Will post pics as soon as I can get outside, although I suspect mine will be looking a little stressed now.

Great photos Sandi.
Greenii is pretty easy to ID in my beds, the rosettes are so much smaller than all the other calcareum I have.
Looking forward to seeing your Triora when it matures, I've never seen that one before.

At last the sun has come out. Well for 5 minutes anyway! We've had rain, hail, sleet and even some snow over the last few days, so my sepms are all looking a bit stressed. The calcareums in particular have more red than usual

I agree with Chris. The reds, purples, whatever, are deepening/coloring up so dramatically.
