I put this in the garden design but I think it might be helpful for those that have trouble keeping them alive over the winter pots seem to work good for me.

In the Fall I put them in the corner of the patio and cover them with leaves.

I put them in the garden in the pots and when all the plants around them grow up they look like they are planted in the garden. I place them next to my big hostas.

Summer I can tuck them in anywhere I want them to compliment the Hostas for this time of year.
