Hi bought 15 Adenium hybrid seedlings from a local hybridiser
Planted them in a mixture of compost(Canadian)sandCoco peat and Ryzolex a soil fungicide on that day 1 mixed HB101 one drop in one leter of water.
They are doing very well and I gave them few grains of20:20:20 Agricultural grade fertilser.
My question is should I trim the top leaves, they were planted on 26.1.2016
Wish to know if Ihave done well with my Adeniums

They look great! they are young and blooming. Right now I use half strength fert. on my young plant not very often. Trimming may help the branching but as I said they are young. They are the right size pots and can stay there a while. Do you have them outside yet?

They get early morning light,some during mid day and 3 hours during after noon.

Hi Guys,
Two of my Adeniums seedlings are dropped leaves completely they are about 5 months old.
I water those seedling only when the medium is dry, should ?Should I be concerned.

I have read through your posts from the beginning. It would be a good idea to post your general location (not exact) so that we can give a more accurate answer in relation to your growing conditions available.

When you posted your soil mix and said "Canadian Sand", it got me wondering exactly what the sand is like. Most Sands used should be a coarse sand, such as River Sand. A fine grained sand mixed with Coco Peat could be detrimental to the root health.

It looks that you have had these for 1-2 months?

Is it just the seedlings in single planter or including the older trees in separate pots.

Hi in my previous post what I meant was a mixture of Canadian Soil ,Sand and Coco Peat they are 3 inch pots and 5 months ,would post an image soon. Only two seedlings have lost all leaves.

Okay, but sand is not all the same. Coarse River sand has quite large particles and unless you reside in Australia, Arizona or India it could compact to tight and not allow water to flow through. This will result in a compact soil and roots can rot from this. All depends on what cultural practices you have and climate in which they are grown.

Where you live is important because conditions can very. Do you use heat or lights or are they always outside. Some products for a loose soil are not available everywhere even here. So depending on where you live is what you use. Needs large particles so water can run through. Are you using the same soil on your seedlings as you bigger trees?
I killed my seedling slowly because I did not give them steady moisture. Seedlings are different then older tree's.
Mine are still in the house. A lot of us here in the States are getting odd weather. All last week it was 80f/26c. Today we have snow showers even my house is cooler with no sun shinning, I have not watered. I stick my finger into the soil about an inch or two. Then I know if it is wet or compacted. I use the Gritty mix but it was to dry for my area, so I added coir powder.
How are the stems and caudex? are they firm or changed color?
