I've been carefully acclimating seedlings grown under grow lights to the outdoors with intention of planting them after May 1. After 5 days seedlings are now exposed to 4-5 hrs. direct sun but mornings until 10 are often below 50s &I bring them in when it gets dark & below 50. Should I put them back under grow lights when I take them in because it seems like they'Re getting less light in this hardening process. Also, I will have to leave them for 3 days & I don't think they'll be ready for transplanting by then.

I would definitely keep putting them under the grow lights except at night. Do you have a p!an for keeping them moist while you're gone for three days? Are they few enough to put in the tub on top of moist paper towels? Or try the terrarium idea... water them, then cover them with plastic to keep the moisture in. If it's only three days, that might work. Or do you have someone coming in to water?
