I clicked on it but no soap. I will try again using each browser. I have Adobe on both computers including professional. I tried again. It sends me to a Bing page and shows all sorts of sites including plantek but when I try to open one I get "Can't reach this page." Very frustrating. Again, I will tap my daughter for help.

Guys, maybe re- set your firewall see how that works.
Karen, I'm in for 29 plants, but do you think you might need import permit with importing a big number of anything? I' m not sure how that works.

I don't remember how many varieties they had but I'm up for a couple of each at least. Have several friends here who would probably take a few as well. I STILL can't open it! Tried your latest link as well, Karen. I'll try on my Ipad but I KNOW I opened it on this computer with my current config when it was mentioned in Feb. Frustrating!

Using Safari, I had no problem opening the link. I could do 10-15. I am limited on room but would be curious just to compare directly tissue culture vs. traditional plants.

Thanks, Yan! I'm absolutely in! Once you find out how many varieties they're willing to include in the 500 just let us know, Karen. For that price it's worth the gamble!

There are 33 shown. I would like 40 all together including one of each shown here. If you can post another run of different ones, then I could tell you the other 7 I would like.

Think I'll be upping mine to around 30 or so. If it helps with the numbers and makes it easier to get the deal done I can go up to 40. They have some absolutely beautiful peonies!

Yeah, I'm in for 40 also. I will look over the pictures again and indicate ones to duplicate to get me from 33 to 40. Great opportunity. Thanks so much.

Okay. I went through and chose those I would want two of to make a total order of 40. I can formalize it by putting them all in a spreadsheet and attaching to a posting. Let me know when to do so.

Karen, great idea ! I am wondering if Planteck will be handling all shipping to different recipients ? Or it will be distributed from US?

I'm sorry I don't remember when the plants will be shipped. I was trying to sleep in my chair last night (back problems) and passed some time trying to figure out how and where I would plant them when they arrived. Not sure I want them in the research bed at botanical garden yet at I don't know if the moose fence encloses it. I think it does but would hate to have all the plants eaten.

As everyone getting serious with this Planteck thing, Karen hasn't had any reply yet, I thing it's necessary to post this page as well. Please read all the condition and team!!!!

Hi everyone! I am glad that there is some interest in this possible group buy. I know if you read the terms and conditions you will think that it is beyond our reach. THat maybe the case, but it is important to know the level interest here so that I know whether to proceed further or not. It may or may not be possible for us to place an order with Planteck. But if there is significant interest, I think anything is possible. They have given me a list of a number of growers and specialized garden centers in the US that carry their products. I am contacting these places to see if they will be willing to place the order for us should there be enough interest. If we can work out a deal with one of these US garden center, perhaps we can open this group buy to the rest of the members on ATP.

I have now written three comments and erased them all. Mostly they have to do with the large amount of money in aggregate we are talking about, and possibilities should the deal go south. I have estimated best case scenario for based on the contract above, and would rather back out now than later. That would be totally unfair to others involved. Once the deal is made there is really no backing out no matter what happens. And as I said, that could get really expensive.

I apologize for being/seeming negative. I just know how I feel at this point.

I am not involved so I can speak without any ulterior motive. We had a co-op about 5 years ago which went very well. It is possible to work a deal with a nursery but it requires one person to be in charge to handle the order and payment, payments in advance of course. The nursery most likely will deal only with one person, both for payment and shipping address. That one person must break down the master order into individual orders and arrange for final shipping. Things can go to pot in a hurry. Good luck with the project and, if all the problems are solved in advance, it sounds like a good way to accumulate several good peonies.
