There is a free private social network for your neighborhood community, nextdoor. I just asked who in the area has mahonia or algarita

Jolana, I have these growing all over our property. If you or anyone else knows if they can be dug up and transplanted, I would be happy to send you one.

I'm a bit creeped out by nextdoor. It's kind of problematic and apparently not restricted to my neighborhood because people from San Antonio post on there so it must be open to anybody. And then there's spam and weirdos that post that they are having swingers parties. I wish it weren't here.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White

Pretty sure there's lots of it on my neighbors 180 acres. Not sure which variety, know some has red seeds, but usually I'm busy watching my 100+ goats and kids. Something with blue seeds that they go nuts over the seeds. I could send you roots or seeds once I know which type you'd prefer (or an assortment) and get an address. Go out there just about every day for a couple hours, mostly bush whacking and cutting trails that I can fit through, and keeping track of kids.

Linda, I haven't seen that sort of behavior but there are a couple of close neighborhood that can be included but it is up to the individual here

Welcome! homesickangel. That's a nice offer but looks like Audrey has some and she is closer, I guess Smiling Thank you
