My dog who doesn't normally touch any of my plants, caught me busy and chewed every single leaf and flowers down to nubs, except for 8 little leaves. Most of the stalks (?) are about 6 inches tall. She didn't get sick from it at all, thank God. Can I still save it? Will it grow back or should I let it die down the rest of the way and dry out and try to salvage the bulbs? Can't find any information about this. Any help is very much appreciated!

Bad dog!! The old leaves are gone for good but you should have new leaves eventually.

Fertilize lightly, give it lots of water (you can hardly ever over-water a Peace Lily) and keep it nice and warm (maybe up on a table or shelf away from the reach of the dog?).

Can't help you with the plant but have some advice on the dog. I have one that likes to treat my house plants like her own personal salad bar so I invested in a bottle of bitter apple. You can get this at a pet supply store (PetSmart, PetCo., etc.)

Harmless to plants. Non toxic to water and humans and animals. BUT leaves a horrible taste in the mouth that dogs and cats find horrific. Doesn't make them sick they just don't like it and find it repulsive.

Uh...also may I suggest not taking big whiffs of it or talking while you spray the plant as it leaves the same nasty taste in YOUR mouth. and make sure to wash your hands real good afterwards as you don't want it transferring to the food.

Pretty much discouraged the dog. Still find a few 'nibbles' or leaf tips here or there on the plants but no mass carnage or destruction to them. You probably know this also as it is common sense but I found putting mine up higher helped matters also.

Hopefully by deterring the dog and following the above advice from others on your plant it will regenerate and be happy again.

I'd watch the dog closely to be sure she doesn't have any ill effects from eating the plant. Spathiphyllum contains calcium oxilates which are toxic to dogs and cats:

I've at times pruned my peace lilies back to the base and they've always grown new leaves.

It will produce leaves soon. Just place it in safety place while it recover.
