Thank you Barbalee and Becky. Annie's Annuals and Perennials actually has some pretty good prices compared to some online nurseries too. I can see myself making more orders with them. I'm a bargain shopper, and their prices fit right in to my idea of a bargain.

If you ever get a chance, the prices at Annie's nursery are even better than mail order. I always make my hubby detour on trips north to go by Annie's. But I still buy from her online, too! Really nice selection of plants and I'm always happy with them.

That's very good to know Dee. Thanks! Our own Calif_Sue lives close enough to be able to go to the nursery. I do have in laws who live in Santa Rosa. Would love to see them again, and then I'd be close enough to go to the nursery too.

In case you need more incentive to order or visit......I love this place. So well organized. All alpha numeric. Lots of info and an incredible display garden. Annie is wonderful to with a great staff on hand too boot. This is about half of it.

Oh. It's a pretty big nursery too. Don't know why, but I imagined it being smaller. I live close to a nice sized nursery. But their plants are so expensive there that I mostly go there to see plants live. Then order online somewhere where it's cheaper, or through a co-op. Would love to be close to Annie's. It just sounds like my kind of nursery.

The events calendar that was posted shows the May NARR was supposed to have started yesterday (May 11), but I don't see it. Did the NARR articles/postings get moved to a different section somewhere?
Does anyone know if Dave has posted anything about the May NARR in a different area on the site somewhere? Is there difficulty finding vendors? Or finding time to do it? I hope it still happens, I was saving my acorns to see what comes up in May and now I'm concerned it might not happen. That would be a bummer.
@Barbalee and @Marilyn , I just wanted to make sure both of you saw the raffle was posted. I don't remember if I saw either of you post in the threads for it yet or not, so here is the link in case you have not seen the May NARR article:
@DogsNDaylilies, @Marilyn,
Too late for me...I've already bought several tickets. I posted just above DND saying I'd found the raffle. Sorry you're not joining the fun, Marilyn...it only takes one ticket to win! But I've never won anything, so I do get it.
Was lucky enough to be able to choose the Caladiums from Caladiumbulbs4Less. Potted some for the Community Garden plant sale, but kept half for me.
For anyone considering buying mixed bulbs from Bill, here is what mine look like as of this afternoon. I'd say I got a mighty nice selection, wouldn't you?
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
