Instead of venetian blinds, one can use discarded soft drink and beer cans. I open the cans and cut 1" x 4" labels using a scissors . Punch a hole on the side using a paper punch. To write on aluminum sheet I use a pointed hard metal rod. A broken bicycle spoke does a good job !
