I've been researching Actinovate since Elaine's heads-up. UF has researched it in 2015 and it seems legit. So far nothing negative to say. My advise is to look into it.

Thanks all, I suspect the color will change a bit in the next day or two ...to a more true pink ( it has some mauve tones in it at the moment)..but I'm really happy with it!
I just sprayed Chlorothalonil this afternoon...but was just reading that there's a mess of fungus among us ..and the black spot variety needs one kind of fungal spray and the dreaded quick moving black rot needs another...
I can't image having as much fungal problems as you guys seem to have on the East Coast. Guess there is something to say for dry weather most of the year. Of course trying to keep moist loving orchids moist can become a daily ritual.
We had another rainy day with chilly temperatures, but warmer, sunny days just have to slowly be on the horizon..... I saw the sun last Monday from about 6 o'clock to 7.
Thought I post two "buggy minis" - for the first one you might want to bring out the fly swatter, Pleurothallis/Specklinia brighamii. The tag is for size comparizon of the plant, the little flies measure ca 1 cm.
We had a SPECTACULAR day here in the Tampa area...blue..blue...BLUE skies...with a wonderful breeze and almost zero humidity. I hope my anti fungal spray killed at least some of the bad boys!
Ted, during the indoor season as right now, I have them hanging over a 40 gallon fish tank, that helps! Once they go outside, (hopefully soon), they are essentially hanging under a Japanese Maple. It is a rare day that they don't get watered.
