Talk about absent minded or just plain dumb. My wife called to me while she was putting some of her winter clothes away in a guest closet. She said: "Honey, did you happen to store some plumeria plants in contractor bags last year?" Oh, oh.

There were two bags full of plants, only 18 of them, but some were pretty large plants. I put them all out on the patio and let them get some rain. And I thought I had everything potted up. Now I have to go back to Lowe's and buy some more large pots and media. It will take another 6-8 cf. of potting mix for all these. Shoot.

I would also insist you dry clean all her clothes in that closet!
And you wondered why the Crimptons decided not to join you this year for a visit! ( Did something die in that closet, dear?)!
Seriously, I hope the plumerias have survived.

The plumeria all look fine, which is sort of remarkable since they have been bagged since November. I will know more in a month, when they have all been potted and had some TLC bestowed on them. I may have to give all these some sort of special tag so that I know they deserve to be left in their pots in 2016.

I'm sure they will be fine!
