Just found out this morning that Oregon State is offering a free online Intro to Permaculture class during the month of May. Those interested may be able to still sign up. Check out permies. com

Thanks, Cindy. I just heard an interview with Jane Goodall (Food Revolution). She is a permaculture advocate.

I wish I could have signed up but I've got a full plate right now. I do repeatedly study my permaculture books, hoping to absorb an increasing amount of info though.
I had heard a short Jane Goodall interview on the Bill Maher show a while back. She had written the forward for the book "Altered Genes, Twisted Truth" which is in my reading stack.

Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! I had to kinda hurry to go through DD's "Edible Forest Gardening" set - took me months and that was just skimming. Too much info to absorb in limited reading time. Currently re-reading Intro to Permaculture and Gaia's Garden, trying to absorb more.

Listening to a You Bet Your Garden podcast (with Mike McGrath) with an interview with Paul Wheaton of permies.com - Wheaton is offering a certified PDC class but not sure of the details - cost, location (probably Montana), etc. I think it starts at the end of May. Could probably check the permies.com website for more info.
