Hello SJButler. It is a lovely iris. Is it a TB, BB, IB or other? Does it bloom early, Mid, late for your zone? Does it have PBF? Just for starters those are a few things needed to help ID a bearded iris.

I posted this Iris on All Things Plants for an ID and the Moderator said it is not Outrageous Fortune, Lordy it was sent to me as a trade I am not sure maybe 15 years ago the person trading stated it was Outrageous Fortune so I am not sure what it is now can someone here help me identify it correctly will also post on the ID forum. Pic 1, 2, 3 are pictures of mine Pic 4 shows theirs on ATP with white line down the falls. Thank you for your help, Kim

NOID #1 is Tall Bearded with slight purple base foliage, bloomed late April and is in bloom today (photo just taken) I had purchased Gay Parasol a couple of years ago and lost it &/or label. However, Gay Parasol has lavender beard and no edging. Years ago had Great Gatsby, also lost id, but Great Gatsby has white beard and no edging.

I'm still searching iris data bases for my NOID#1 bitone lavender/purple
Louisa's Song is VERY similar but mine is not as ruffled.
The name is familiar to me but I don't remember purchasing it.
I think I will go ahead and purchase it to compare to NOID#1

How long have you had the Iris and what zone are you in? Late April for me in Zone 9 is the end of the season.. Some of the folks on this forum haven't had anything bloom yet. Knowing when you got the Iris eliminates all the years after as introductory dates.

@SJButler Try So Fine, but look at the pictures with the darker falls. Description says Royal Purple, but some of pictures are more Red Violet. There is a newer one with too many ruffles, Dance Hall Dolly.
