Gardening in a Wheelchair

Here is another site I came across which has a limited selection of heux at reasonable prices and lots of hostas. Shipping is $7.50 for first plant and .50/per addt'l plant. He doesn't have Stainless Steel which I decided to place around the black lace elderberry but I am buying 2 more Redstone Falls and Delta Dawn. Will post photos of plant size when order arrives.

I have ordered from them before , The prices are good but you are getting plugs as long as you are ok with that.
You should be able to get Stainless Steel from Santa Rosa Gardens.

Thanks Bob - I didn't realize they are plugs which usually I prefer but not @ $9. I need 6 of the Stainless Steel and did buy 3 from SRG tonight and hope they increase fast!

Picked up at Lowe's today a pot with Heucheras Brown Sugar , Vulcano and Pretty Perrine in one pot for $14.98. Not a bad buy and all a decent size. Raining right now will try to get a picture tomorrow . Hopefully they have this all over the country , the triple pot they had last year seemed to be all over the place.

Great deal Bob and I was not familiar BS and PP. Got up this morning and called Lowes. First I was asked if heucheras were a type of lettuce.
After being on hold for awhile I was told nada. I don't think this person had any clue what I was asking about so I asked for the manager and then phone disconnects. So, I'm driving over this afternoon.

At Lowe's you would have to ask about Coral Bells. I do not think anyone there would have any idea what a Heuchera was. Best of luck getting them. I divided mine and planed this morning after taking picture.

I did get a newsletter or something. He contacted me ME, don't know where he got my email address, but when I looked him up on DG, I noticed he had negative feed back, no too many, but he had not responded to any of the negative feedback. I sent him a email and told him not to ignore the negative feed back because so many people will check you out on DG before they even order and you have no idea how much business you are loosing. I told him it would be better to refund the whole amount because each negative comment cost him ten times that much in lost sales. So far he has not taken the advice. It's too bad. The smart companies never even consider ignoring Watchdog!

I decided against it as the only 1 I really want is Solar Power and spg charge isn't worth it for 1 plant. I usually buy and plant perennials in August or so when they are on sale but for whatever reason some new ones planted last Aug didn't make it even though we didn't have much of a winter here.

ILH is sold out of Solar Power and SRG doesn't have it. ILH has a "wait list for 2013" for SP which is kind of amusing to me to be on a waitlist for a heuchera.

Newgardenplants.com Got some poor plants end of season last year. Only ordered for them one time.

Sorry to hear about that. I found one on Garden Crossing and their reviews are good, no negative. They are a top 30 company.
