Hello,
Today my DH drove, Mom and I to Springfield, TN. I had noticed in the AIS catalog that Wild Iris Rows was located there. It was a little over an hour drive away. They have a website and a Facebook page. It was a fun day! It started off a little cool but the sun finally came out. Mom will be 90 this Fall, I am so lucky that she was able to go and enjoy herself.

The Hester's who are Wild Iris Rows are great people. You can always email Greg Hester and ask who hybridized Lionel Choo Choo. I have several of Greg's iris in my garden. Endura and Vuneta Krisle are in bloom right now as a matter of fact.

Good morning, Tom. No they were saying that this weekend should be peak. It was such fun. Mom did get chilly and she had to go back to the car while I took more pictures lol. It must be blackberry winter.

Whippoorwill winter, Teresa, blackberry winter will be along soon when they start blooming. lol

What a wonderful trip for your family. I know your mother loved it as well as the fact that you wanted to spend the time with her. Thank you for sharing the photos with us. I do love the setting for the blooms.

Bonnie, whippoorwill winter is a new one to me. We did see some blackberries in bloom in TN.

I get to see Greg Hester at the Region 7 meetings when I go. He is super nice. He has sent extras and bonuses that do well in my area. I have gotten some very nice plants from them. I must go visit there some day since it would be about 4 hours for me. Probably my best irises from Wild Iris Rows are Miah Jane and Royal Birth.
