Couldn't resist when I was out plant shopping yesterday; isn't she pretty? There was no identifying tag with name or care instructions. My first time with this particular plant but I don't think they are difficult to keep happy? Any tips on their care is appreciated. Thank You!

Oooh, that is so pretty! I'm not familiar with Streptocarpus, but the flowers are gorgeous. I wouldn't have been able to resist either Big Grin

Hi DebbieC. I agree That is a lovely plant. I'm sure that you'll be able to get some great advice from our Gesneriads forum.

I've had a couple. They grew super on my light shelf over winter, basement, then when they set buds, I brought them to my bedroom and they bloomed for weeks. But I fried them in summer. All my plants go outside, and I didn't leave any inside, or I'd forget them completely.
Mine died from summer heat, or maybe mealybugs, I think I recall finding mealies down in the crown, hard to get at.
But when conditions are good they can do very well!
Plant it and they will come.
