I do stop to smell the roses
I inherited this beautiful Spring flower hedge from the previous owner.

Please help me with the identification, I am a newbie to gardening.

Thank you

It looks like a Beauty Bush, Linnaea amabilis (formerly called Kolkwitzia amabilis).

Thank you Zuzu, it sure looks like it.
Will have a look tomorrow, to see if it is yellowish on the inside.
I see you take a cutting from the stem. I am not sure how, but will look in the forums.

Thanks again.

One of the cultivars of the species, Pink Cloud, appears to have less yellow in the bloom.

There is no yellow in the flowers. Just pink.
The bush is always in the shade, I don't know if that makes a difference.

Then it must be one of the cultivars, probably Pink Cloud.
