I have put about all the plumeria that this mulched space can comfortably hold. I not only ran out of space but also ran out of large, 18-24" diameter pots. I have six more to pot up and they'll go out in the landscape that borders my uphill area. I grouped these plumeria (sort of) according to variety. This area has a timed irrigation system, so hopefully, the plants won't require a lot of (hose) watering.

I have two dozen cuttings left over from last October that never rooted over the winter. They all look good and I hope they will quickly root now that it is getting warmer.

That is quite is sight, Ken! Can't wait to see a picture of them all leafed out. Is that Spanish moss I see? What a great space to enjoy your plumeria. Like the sign too. I'm thinking I will need to utilize the shady spots under the citrus trees come summer.

I do grow a lot of Spanish moss and a bit is hanging from a couple of the plumeria. What you might also be seeing is a really spectacular Tillandsia, T. recurvata, attached to a trellis which is attached to a Vanilla Orchid.

I have a cutting with no roots that I put into water in February. it flowered and then it leafed out a bit and now it is flowering again. I am in Central CA and
my cutting has been indoors. We have had extreme heat which will continue
and I have decided to put my cutting into a porous soil mix bit still keep it indoors. I am thinking of using Spanish moss around the base to keep it moist. Does anyone have advice for me? Wish I could send a photo. The flowers were beautiful!

I have never tried to root a plumeria cutting in water. I don't know why your plant doesn't root. Perhaps all the energy is going into the inflo. rather than into rooting. Margaret, @margaretKevorkian you know that plumeria love heat and sun, and the hotter it is (within reason of course) the better they perform.

I see no reason for you not to use (live) Spanish moss in that way. I did not realize that Spanish moss grew in Fresno. Until my wife moved to Mississippi, she said she had never seen Spanish moss. She spent the first 20 yr. of her life in Fresno.

I have rooted a few plumerias in water before. They really don't root but have nice stubs on the bottom. I did post my finding it this forum but you might have to go back to early 2016 or late 2015. After they got the stubs/snubs I put them in pots and they took off. One even flowered that year but I think I was just lucky.
