They certainly have been.
Each morning I hope to hear better news but it is getting worse.
And it is not just the fire and human and wildlife... That of course is uppermost ...
But for miles and miles ......very far from the fire ....the air is very dangerous for people who have respiratory disease.

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

Last night on the news they said that they has no way of stopping the fire and their only hope was for rain. Which is not in the forecast. I'm surprised that there is no way to stop it. Perhaps an indicator of just how big it is? Gene

I suppose they have to weigh human and financial cost and risk vs the fire. Some things just can't be controlled. How very fewrful for those folks.

Thanks for thinking of Canadians. Living in the north is a very different way of life. This is way up north in beautiful country. There is also a huge fire in BC. A California fire expert said there was no way of stopping a fire of this magnitude so that would give you some perspective. Your prayers are very welcome.

I hope Canada gets some good rain without lighting soon that would help if the foliage, ground and brush got soaking wet. Sorry to hear about all the damage and all those folks who lost their homes. Keeping them in prayers.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!
