I went to a local plant sale today and purchased this Iris. I don't know much about Iris except the Bearded kind. This plant has a rhizome like the bearded. I tried googling "Sturjis" or "Stugis" and came up with nothing. The ladies at the money desk said the bloom would look like a Dutch Iris. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ann

Nothing I've heard of, but have you tried the data base on here? You may just have to wait and see what you have after it blooms. Smiling

From the leaves it appears they are right. Most [all?] bearded iris have wider leaves.
I was unable to find anything near that name in my old database.
Tom's advice is good-have to wait until a bloom then check size, coloration/pattern, etc.
Good luck.
