Has anyone here raised queens artificially? What is your favorite system or technique?

I've thought about doing it, even looked at a queen kit. I don't really have the time this year, so far behind on planting and getting the yard straightened out.
I've taken some cells from frames and rubberbanded them to another frame in a NUC and they have hatched but thats only been once or twice.

Have you raised them in the past?
Life is a rush into the unknown. You can duck down and hope nothing hits you, or you can stand tall, show it your teeth and say "Dish it up, Baby, and don't skimp on the jalapeƱos."
