It seems like blooms at this time of year are extra bright to seal in our memory before the world turns gray and dark.

Beautiful pictures. Not much blooming here anymore, sedum, black eyed susan, a few phlox, but I do see something new, a clump of fall crocus, and the first of the blue asters.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
